The marbling on this bud vase looks as if it was formed on one of the moons of Jupiter. The pink, brown and speckled marbling seems to create a spinning space storm.
The exterior of the vase has been left unglazed to emphasize the color and texture of the clay. The interior of the vessel has a shiny white glaze, allowing it to hold water. Each piece is meticulously sanded so that it is smooth to the touch and evokes the feeling of sculpted stone.
