Each mug has a shiny black glaze on the interior, rim and top of handle while the remaining surface is unglazed. They are food and microwave safe. Each mug has unique patterns while keeping the same colors.
The wonderful thing about marbled pieces is that each one is completely unique! I start by combining three clay bodies and gently wedge them together. The marbled effect is achieved when the clays combine during the throwing process, which gives the clay it's swirly look.
