Sit back and enjoy your morning coffee with this pretty little mug while you bring some beach vibes into your home. I used white, blue and speckled clay to create the unique patterns. They are food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
The wonderful thing about marbled pieces is that each one is completely unique! The patterns will vary from piece to piece. I start by combining three clay bodies and gently wedge them together. The marbled effect is achieved when the clays combine during the throwing process, which gives the clay it's swirly look. Finally, I sand each piece so that it is smooth to the touch, almost like sculpted stone.
